It also violated 5282 vehicles because they were not examined after making fundamental adjustments to their engine, and 4602 vehicles because they were not examined after making adjustments to their chassis during the same period.

The police authorities monitored that young men were equipping their vehicles with the aim of making loud noises, while others made fundamental adjustments to the vehicles to increase their speed and make noise, which poses a threat to the safety of the driver and road users.

The state's police forces implemented strict measures against equipped vehicles, such as setting certain percentages of vehicle sounds and violating those bypassing them, closing the workshops of cars equipped with vehicles, as they engage in unlicensed activity, and intensifying traffic patrols in populated areas and places where young people gather, to control the drivers of equipped vehicles and the issuers of sounds. Nagging.

According to police reports, most of the age groups that were caught driving equipped vehicles ranged between 18 and 30 years old.

For its part, Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that it has increased the penalty for providing vehicles, finally, because studies, reports and traffic accidents have shown that they are dangerous to the lives of road users, noting that according to what was stipulated in Law No. (5) of 2020 regarding the seizure of vehicles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which Finally, the perpetrator is punished by the violation of changes in the vehicle's engine or base (chassis) without a license, by requiring the vehicle owner to pay a fine to release the vehicle's seizure of 10 thousand dirhams, provided that the vehicle is seized until the payment of the financial value of the suspension is paid for a maximum period Three months, after which the vehicle is referred for sale in public auction, in addition to obligating him to the penalty stipulated in the Federal Traffic Law.

Abu Dhabi Police conducted an analytical study of the violations that most cause traffic accidents, among them the provision of vehicles. Last year, it launched a "Safety Path" campaign during which it educated drivers about the dangers of providing vehicles and causing noise and disturbing road users, and residents of neighborhoods where disturbing cars pass.
