Tadej Pogacar seized the yellow jersey on the eve of the arrival of the Tour de France, crushing the stopwatch on Saturday which ended at the top of the Planche des Belles Filles, pushing the former leader back to nearly a minute Primoz Roglic in the general classification.

Pogacar, 21, won the time trial and largely recovered the 57 seconds of disbursement he had, at the start of this 20th stage, on his compatriot of 30 years.

He only has one stage left, the traditional parade which ends on Sunday on the Champs-Elysées, to become the youngest winner of the post-war Tour de France.
