This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Chinese military's participation in UN peacekeeping operations.
On the 18th, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to publish and introduce the relevant situation of the white paper "Chinese Army's Participation in UN Peacekeeping Operations for 30 Years".
Over the past 30 years, the Chinese military has participated in 25 United Nations peacekeeping operations and dispatched more than 40,000 peacekeeping officers and soldiers. 16 Chinese officers and soldiers have given their precious lives for the cause of peace.
Their names have been written on page 39 of the white paper "The Chinese Army's Participation in UN Peacekeeping Operations for 30 Years".
