Since 1995, the Indian has been part of Frölunda's logo, but on Thursday morning the club announced that it will be replaced.

- It is one of the most difficult decisions, says Mats Grauers, Frölunda Indian's chairman.

Reported to the DO

The background is that the logo was reported to the Discrimination Ombudsman (DO) in 2015 when it was considered offensive.

And now the issue has been brought to life again, including in the wake of the Black lives matter movement.

- For me, it's a tribute.

And now it feels a bit like someone is dying, says Marco Vieira who is chairman of the supporter club Goa gubbar.
