On Saturday, the weather is sunny in much of Finland, but at the same time especially windy in the western parts of the country and in Eastern Lapland.

According to the Finnish Meteorological Institute, wind warnings have been issued for the northern part of the Gulf of Bothnia, the Kvarken, the Bothnian Sea, the Archipelago Sea, the North Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland.

Of the land areas, the wind warning is valid in the municipality of Inari.

Towards evening, the gusty northwest wind weakens.

There will be showers in Eastern Lapland in the morning.

In the afternoon, there will also be light showers over the central part of the country to the southeast.

The daytime temperature in the southern and central part of the country is 11–14 degrees.

In the zone extending from North Karelia to southwestern Lapland, the temperature fluctuates around 10 degrees. From northeastern to North Lapland, temperatures vary in a range of 6 to 8 degrees.

In Lapland, some of the rain may come as a sleet.
