China News Service, Fuzhou, September 19 (Guo Chaokai) The 2020 China Aerospace Conference will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian from September 18 to 21.

Bao Weimin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Science and Technology Committee of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said at the meeting that China will comprehensively improve the performance level of the new generation of launch vehicles and plan to achieve one-hour global arrival, ground and orbital distance by 2045. And the flight-based space transportation between orbits.

Bao Weimin said that the flight-based space transportation system is mainly composed of three types of transportation systems: one-hour global arrival transportation + space-to-ground transportation + space transfer transportation.

It adopts a flight-based operation model, which has the basic characteristics of high reliability, low cost, repeated use, intelligence, modularization, standardization, and industrial scale.

He pointed out that there are three stages to achieve the goal of flying aerospace transportation: the initial construction stage before 2025, the main task is to break through key technologies and form a test trial system; the goal is to be completed in 2035, with a total of hundreds of flights per year and total Thousand-ton freight transport, with a total of 1,000 passenger trips; by 2045, the goal is to be fully completed and launch on-demand. The total number of flights per year reaches 1,000, with a total cargo of 10,000 tons and a total of 10,000 passengers.

To achieve the goal of one-hour global reach in 2045, the performance level of the launch vehicle is indispensable.

"By 2025, China's launch vehicle design and development capabilities will be significantly improved; flight reliability will be increased by 0.5%, carrier efficiency will be increased by more than 20%, and launch cycles will be reduced by more than 20%. By 2035, China's launch vehicle design and development capabilities will be achieved leapfrog development; flight The reliability is increased by 1%, the carrying efficiency is increased by more than 50%, and the launch period is reduced by more than 50%." Bao Weimin said.

Bao Weimin believes that in the future, the reuse design concept will be adopted to carry out long-endurance and long-life design, which will fundamentally solve the high cost of the current one-time use of launch vehicles.

At that time, China's flight-based space transportation will form a systematic capability and a large-scale industry, and the overall performance level will reach world-class levels, and my country's flight-based space transportation system will be fully formed.
