The seed for the film was already sown in the 80s when Karlskrona resident Martin Rosengren saw a painting in Ystad depicting a million program house in Malmö.

When he was about to make a film about the folk home over 30 years later, he accidentally met the artist who made the painting he had seen many years earlier.

It was then that he realized that the painting could be a part of the film about architecture that he was working on.

The finished film is now broadcast on SVT.

"Then art arises"

For architecture can also be art.

- There are times when it happens.

It is unusual, but sometimes it can be lifted to become art.

On the other hand, Martin Rosengren does not think that all architecture is art.

- It can not just be a house.

It must take you into another dimension.

That's when art emerges, he says.

The film will be broadcast on SVT2 on 25 September and on SVT Play from 20 September.
