The highly successful seven-wrestler Maria Huntington opens up in an interview with Yle about her childhood, where financial worries were often the annoyance of four children and the single mother who raised them.

- We did not eat tortillas in the evenings, but porridge was pulled in the mornings and evenings.

Around the age of 12-13, I started traveling with my mother on shopping trips and realized how important it was to keep expenses to a minimum.

I knew exactly exactly that I was looking for a milk can or any product, it had to be the cheapest possible.

Still, it felt like the money wasn’t enough, 23-year-old Maria Huntington said.
