The clip angered social media users and defenders of children's rights, and the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood announced that legal measures would be taken against "Youtuber" Ahmed Hassan and his wife for posting videos that violate children's rights.

An official at the Ministry of Social Solidarity also demanded that the spouses be charged with human trafficking in accordance with Article 291 of the Penal Code and the Anti-Human Trafficking Law of 1964, which carries a penalty of life imprisonment and a fine of 500 thousand pounds (approximately 30 thousand dollars).

In the investigations of the prosecution, Ahmed Hassan said that he and his wife did not intend to intimidate or endanger the life of his daughter, noting that the circulating video is a father's joke of his child and a joke.

While his wife said that her coloring her face black as a kind of test of the intelligence of the child, indicating that she and her husband document the childhood moments of their daughter.

This is not the first time that the spouses have been criticized for the abuse of their child, as a video clip circulated last August in which the father intimidated his daughter, and despite the reports submitted against the spouses, no court rulings were issued against them.
