In the budget bill for 2021, the government proposes that the national competence team at the County Administrative Board in Östergötland be developed and permanent as a national competence center for honor-related matters.
At the same time, the government is proposing an initiative to increase the skills of professionals.
The proposal is based on an agreement between the governing parties, the Center Party and the Liberals.
The government will invest SEK 180 million in 2021 and thereafter SEK 80 million per year in 2022 and 2023 to increase competence and for new assignments to relevant government agencies regarding honor-related violence and oppression.
