He commented on the statement of the head of the Accounts Chamber of Russia, Alexei Kudrin, that the amount of funds allocated in Russia to support citizens and businesses could be increased.
"In general, the Kremlin considers the measures taken to combat crisis manifestations during a pandemic to be effective, timely, carefully calibrated and ensure that the consequences of the global crisis are minimized as much as possible," TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the Kremlin said that there was no reason for any rumors about new restrictions on coronavirus infection.
