Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China approved: Lan Shaomin was appointed member, standing member, and deputy secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Wu Qiang was appointed member of the Guizhou Provincial Party Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China.

　　Lan Shaomin, male, Han nationality, was born in January 1964 in Dapu, Guangdong. He started working in July 1985 and joined the Communist Party of China in March 1984. He has a postgraduate degree and a doctorate in engineering.

　　Lan Shaomin successively served in Qidong County, Nantong City, Rugao City, Suqian City and Taizhou City of Jiangsu Province. In March 2017, he served as the Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province. In January 2018, he was appointed Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Nanjing Municipal Committee of Jiangsu Province. 2019 From August 2008 to September 2020, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee. From September 2020, he served as the Deputy Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee.

　　Wu Qiang, male, Dong nationality, was born in August 1966 in Xinhuang, Hunan. He started working in August 1988 and joined the Communist Party of China in November 1994. He has a university degree, a master's degree in engineering, and a registered urban planner.

Wu Qiang is an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

　　Wu Qiang successively served in Guiyang City Planning Bureau of Guizhou Province, Guiyang City Planning and Design Institute, Guizhou Provincial Transportation Department. In November 2011, he served as a member of the Bijie Prefectural Committee and Deputy Commissioner of the Administrative Office of Guizhou Province. In January 2012, he was appointed as the Bijie Municipal Committee of Guizhou Province. Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Mayor, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the Municipal Government, served as Deputy Secretary-General of the Guizhou Provincial Government, Member of the Party Group of the General Office, Director of the Provincial Railway Construction Office in July 2012, and Director and Party Leadership Group of the Guizhou Provincial Economic and Information Committee in September 2016 Secretary, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee’s National Defense Industry Working Committee, served as Vice Governor of Guizhou Province in January 2018, Member of the Party Group of the Provincial Government, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee from September 2020.
