Johnson: There is no escape from a second wave of "Corona" and we may impose new restrictions

Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Friday that it is inevitable that the country faces a second wave of the Corona virus, and that he does not want a second general isolation, but the government may need to impose new restrictions.

It was reported that Britain was examining whether to impose a new general isolation in various parts after the new cases of Covid-19 nearly doubled to 6,000 cases per day, and after the increase in the number of hospitalizations and the escalation of infection rates in parts of northern England and London.

"We are now witnessing a second wave coming ... I fear that it is inevitable, and that we will witness it in this country," Johnson said.

The sharp increase in the number of cases in the country means that the government needs to keep everything under review, and the prime minister has not ruled out imposing other measures.

"I absolutely do not want to go into nationwide lockdown again," Johnson said, but added, "When you see what happens, you have to ask if we should take other measures."
