4 years after they hacked the hours of the Twitter account of US President Donald Trump, the Dutch hackers finally appeared on the Dutch media to restore the first details of that exciting day, and how they could have manipulated the content of the account, and see the private messages that Trump sends and receives on his favorite website Twitter.

The pirates did not want to disclose their family names when they appeared on one of the talk shows, which are shown on the first screen of Dutch state television, and preferred to deal with their first names, or the many names of their group;

Among them are "moral pirates," "angry seniors," the latter referring to the pirates' ages, as they are over 40.

The story dates back to 2016, during the intense presidential race between Donald Trump and his rival Hillary Clinton, when Trump ran most of his election campaign through his Twitter account.

The Dutch group was not planning to hack Trump's account, as it was not known much among them, and it was believed at the time that Trump would never win the presidential election;

Ultimately, however, the group's curiosity led them to hack the account and take control of it for hours.

The group members claim that they did not think at the time of opening the president's private messages on his Twitter account, or publishing propaganda posts.

Because this contradicts their principles, as they describe themselves as ethical hackers, who help companies protect their data from "outlaw" pirates, as they did in 2012, when they helped the popular site "linkedin", after its users' data was leaked in an accident known.

The hackers showed a screen image of Trump's account from the inside, which showed that they had actually entered Trump's account, as the image revealed the capabilities available to publish posts, or change the image of the account holder.

A member of the group revealed that they thought for a moment by publishing a post on Trump's account calling for the election of Hillary Clinton just days before the election date, but they quickly changed that idea.

Perhaps the surprise in the story of Trump's Twitter account is the password he was using, as the Dutch hacker revealed that he was using the phrase "you are fired", which is the famous phrase that Trump used a lot to expel the contestants on his TV show "The Trainee" ( The Apprentice) which aired between 2004-2017.

Trump used the same password on several of his accounts on the Internet, including LinkedIn.

Although the hacker group did not try to exploit the hacking of Trump's account for other purposes other than explaining the need to immunize user accounts on the Internet, they lived with fear of sanctions or kidnapping in the years following Trump's assumption of the presidency of the United States.

Even when the group traveled for the first time to the United States, after the Trump account hacking process, to participate in a cyber-hacking conference organized there, they preferred to travel alone, and did not board the same plane.

Also, before their trip, they told their families in the Netherlands for the first time about the hacking of Trump's account, fearing that they would disappear in the United States.

It is known that many of the giant technology companies use the expertise of legitimate cyber hackers to fortify their protection systems, and pay them large sums to protect them from illegal pirates.
