French newspaper Le Figaro revealed that French President Emmanuel Macron is making decisions under the influence of former President Nicolas Sarkozy in the matter of appointing ministers and managing crises in the country.

The newspaper stated in news published on Friday that Macron had repeatedly met with Sarkozy, and that the latter had warned Macron that reforming the pension system that caused social events in the country would not satisfy the French.

The newspaper quoted Sarkozy as saying, "I do not give advice, but I say what I would do if I were president of the country, and I will not do anything that deepens the crises in France."

The newspaper pointed out that the appointment of Jean Castex as Prime Minister, Gerald Darmanin as Minister of the Interior, Roselyn Bachelors as Minister of the Environment, and Eric Dupont Moretti as Minister of Justice took place under the influence of Sarkozy.

Hundreds of people demonstrated in the French capital Paris today, Friday, to protest against the Macron government's economic and social policies.

The demonstrators expressed their protest against the economic and social policies of Macron and the government, and the expulsion of a large number of workers in different sectors during the period of the Corona epidemic.
