Earlier in the week, it was clear that 140 jobs could be threatened at Stora Enso in Hyltebruk and Hylte municipality has gone into staff mode to handle the situation.
But on Thursday, the news came that Gnotec Sweden AB will move parts of its production of components to the automotive industry from Reftele in Småland to Hylte.
- It can match the mill's pin and we can straighten our backs a bit.
It has been a tough week, says Ronny Löfquist.
80 jobs
It is about 80 jobs, but that does not mean that 80 new vacancies will come out.
According to Ronny Löfquist, the company has offered its current employees to move with.
- Many will certainly move, but in the long term it means 80 jobs in Hylte and when recruiting new people, it is extremely positive.
- Somewhere it says that Hylte is an attractive place to run a business in.
It is currently not clear exactly when production will move, but probably in mid-2021.
