“On September 17, 2020, two crews of long-range anti-submarine Tu-142 aircraft of the Northern Fleet performed their next scheduled flight over the neutral waters of the Barents, Norwegian, North Seas and the Atlantic Ocean,” the Northern Fleet's press service quoted TASS as saying.
The flight duration was over 11 hours, and the length of the route was about 10 thousand kilometers.
In the near zone, Tu-142 aircraft were accompanied by MiG-31 fighters.
Earlier it was reported that the Su-27 climbed to intercept the US and Swedish military aircraft over the Baltic.
