A man was indicted and detained in Colmar, reveals L'Alsace.

This fifty-year-old is notably accused of "sexual assault on minors of [less than] 15 years by a person in authority".

The alleged acts were committed on two girls six years ago, on the one hand at the home of the defendant but also at the Memorial Museum of the combats of the Pocket of Colmar, in Turckheim, where he was a volunteer.

The man would have confessed his actions, according to the regional daily which quotes his lawyer, Maître Doriane Weiss: "It was a form of relief for him to be able to expose the facts, but he is aware that the investigations must continue" .
