"Once again, we are witnessing aggressive Russophobic hysteria in Poland ... Nothing but regret and indignation can cause such activity," Medvedev wrote on Facebook.

He noted that the level of interaction between the authorities of Russia and Poland (including the presidents and governments of the two countries) in the case of the plane crash "was unprecedented."

“The tragedies of Poland were deeply sympathetic to our country.

We also felt the response of the Poles, including the mood at the funeral of President L. Kaczynski, which I attended, ”Medvedev wrote.

He noted that the arrest or extradition of Russian citizens to the Polish side is impossible.

On September 16, the Polish prosecutor's office demanded the arrest of three air traffic controllers who worked at the Smolensk-Severny airfield on the day of the crash of Tu-154 Kaczynski.

Kaczynski's plane crashed in 2010 while landing at Smolensk-Severny airport, killing 96 members of the Polish delegation.
