The voter barometer that Novus has made on behalf of SVT shows that the Liberals will end up under the four percent barrier if there were an election today.

The Green Party also ends up critically close to the barrier but manages, according to the survey.

According to SVT's political reporter Elisabeth Marmorstein, the result means that the red-green bloc, with the support of the Center Party, would be the largest.

- The Social Democrats continue to lose and are now below their election result.

The Sweden Democrats are increasing very marginally, but that increase still means that it can be said that the Moderates are statistically greater than the Sweden Democrats, says SVT's political reporter Elisabeth Marmorstein in the morning studio.

According to Elisabeth Marmorstein, the Moderates' position as the second largest party is threatened, however, by the Sweden Democrats when the agenda shifts focus.

- There is a long way to go before the election and a lot can happen, she says.

- But it should not be ruled out that we get a similar development as last winter, that the Sweden Democrats went around when gang crime and immigration dominated the agenda just as it does today.

How stressed are the Moderates?

- They are stressed, of course.

Now they have been bigger for a while, especially during the pandemic, the Moderates increased a bit.

But it's clear, given the issues that dominate the agenda, they should be a little stressed given that the Sweden Democrats were the ones who won on those issues last year.
