The Dubai Health Authority has begun implementing a survey for people of determination in the emirate, with the aim of counting their numbers in the emirate of Dubai, and identifying their requirements and needs, and has requested all facilities and centers specialized in people of determination to cooperate to complete the survey.

The authority issued a circular directed to all health facilities licensed by it, asking them to fill out a questionnaire with data that meet the purpose, and the authority will carry out the survey for the benefit of the Dubai Statistics Center.

Through the survey, the authority monitors the quality of health services provided to people of determination, and has identified 18 services that include “physical therapy, occupational therapy, applied behavior analysis, psychotherapy, speech therapy and speech difficulties, home care, shadow facilities or a teacher, vocational rehabilitation, medical diagnosis. Medical evaluation, educational psychological evaluation, locomotor evaluation, medical counseling, general health care, alternative and support technology, maintenance of devices for people of determination, transportation, as well as other recreational activities. ”The cost of some services provided per hour, and some for the session The monthly cost of specific services, in addition to the cost of maintenance for the devices.

The authority works through a questionnaire to enumerate the total number of workers who deal directly with the services of people of determination in all centers, as well as the characteristics of the workers in each establishment.

The survey monitors the characteristics of people of determination in the Emirate of Dubai, as it divided them into three categories: the first includes internal and includes all people of determination who are inpatients during the previous year 2019, and the second includes hesitants and includes all people of determination who regularly visit to receive any of the services during the past year, and the third includes lists Waiting and includes all people of determination waiting to receive any of the services until the day of the visit.
