“A criminal case has been opened against the former director of the State Unitary Enterprise on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art.
160 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Misappropriation, that is, theft of someone else's property entrusted to the guilty party, committed with the use of official position and on an especially large scale”), ”the statement reads.
According to the investigation, from 2016 to 2017, the man, who at that time was the director of the state unitary enterprise (GUP) "Oblkommunservice", received more than 1.5 million rubles at the cash desk of the enterprise, having issued them as an advance for business expenses, but the money for the enterprise and did not return.
"Searches have been carried out, documents and items of importance for the investigation have been seized, the necessary forensic examinations have been appointed, and witnesses are being questioned," the report says.
