Russia has a negative view of Poland's intention to arrest three Russian dispatchers who worked at Smolensk-Severny airport during the 2010 plane crash with Polish President Lech Kaczynski.

This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

“In general, conceptually ... I will say this: we treat negatively,” Peskov said.

According to him, he does not know whether there were any contacts and legal actions in accordance with international practice, whether the Prosecutor General's Office or the investigating authorities received appeals from Warsaw.

He also stressed that the Russian side will not issue dispatchers if a request is made.

“This is impossible under our legislation,” he stated.

In turn, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, emphasized during the briefing that in recent years, a conspiracy version of this tragic incident has been persistently promoted in Poland, despite the fact that earlier Warsaw had agreed with the conclusions of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) about what happened.

“Years later, Warsaw, ignoring the facts, bringing the situation to the point of absurdity, is apparently trying to earn political points from the tragedy and blame Russia for what happened.

One should hardly be surprised at yet another frankly absurd action by the Polish authorities.

In the Russophobia reigning in the country, state structures serve the political order.

We urge our partners to stop this show, ”she said.

Earlier, the first investigation team under the Polish State Prosecutor's Office filed with the district court in the Warsaw district of Mokotów a petition for the temporary arrest of three dispatchers who were on duty on April 10, 2010, on the day of the Tu-154M crash.

As the official representative of the department Eva Bialik told RIA Novosti, we are talking about Pavel P., Viktor R. and Nikolai K. - they are suspected of deliberately provoking a plane crash.

According to the legislation of the republic, it is forbidden to name the full names of those against whom the proceedings are being conducted.

Recall that the Tu-154 of the Polish Air Force, on board which there were 96 people, including the President of the Republic Lech Kaczynski, crashed while landing at the Smolensk-Severny airfield.

The investigation of the incident was carried out in parallel by the Russian and Polish sides, actively interacting.

In 2011, the IAC published the final report on the results of the technical investigation.

It drew conclusions about the main cause of the crash.

She was told the decision of the crew not to leave for an alternate airfield, in addition to this, shortcomings in flight support and crew training were noted.

The same conclusions were made by the first Polish commission under the leadership of former Interior Minister Jerzy Miller.

The experts concluded that the presidential plane dropped below the permitted minimum during landing, ignoring the thick fog, while also pointing out the alleged erroneous actions on the part of the air traffic controllers.

Meanwhile, in 2018, the new Polish authorities questioned the IAC report and the findings of the Miller Commission, initiating a re-investigation.

According to the new version of Warsaw, the plane crashed after the explosion.

As pointed out by Russian officials, the actions of the Polish side are pursuing exclusively political goals.

"The next stage of anti-Russian hysteria"

According to a member of the Federation Council Olga Kovitidi, the demand of the Polish Prosecutor General's Office to arrest Russian air traffic controllers is another stage of anti-Russian hysteria, given that the IAC earlier named the cause of the tragedy by the actions of the crew, who decided to land the plane despite heavy fog.

“It is also noteworthy that Polish experts from the first Polish commission of inquiry confirmed this circumstance, but for some reason the report of the initial commission did not suit the Polish authorities, and another commission was created, which for a long period of time has not been able to complete your work and present your final conclusions.

Regarding whether the citizens of the Russian Federation will be extradited, in this case we know that Russia is a rule-of-law state, and non-extradition rules apply to Russian citizens, this is clearly enshrined in Article 61 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, "the senator said in a conversation with RT ...

In turn, Senator Aleksey Kondratyev, in a conversation with RIA Novosti, indicated that all the conclusions of international experts testified to the fault of the pilots of the Polish presidential plane.

“There they have internal political showdowns, showdowns within the EU, and Russia is a well-promoted brand of the“ bad guy ”type.

So they remembered this case in order to blame Russia once again, ”added Andrei Klimov, Deputy Chairman of the International Committee of the Federation Council.

According to State Duma Deputy Ruslan Balbek, Poland has overdone its anti-Russian hysteria.

“These people are simply choking with hatred for our country and our history, it is impossible to conduct a dialogue with them, they only understand when conditions are dictated to them.

But we are not Washington, and we are not dictating conditions to anyone, so we will simply ignore the various crazy ideas of the Polish political forces and state structures subordinate to them, "the interlocutor of RT stated.

In turn, Elena Panina, a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, believes that the new "conspiracy fantasies" of the Polish authorities regarding the Tu-154 plane crash near Smolensk are associated with the latest events in Belarus, which the Poles want to "get their hands on".

“The accusations against the Russian side in the death of Kaczynski were, until recently, an exclusively local Polish history, with the help of which the nationalist Law and Justice party settled scores with its opponents, and outside the circle of Russophobes, few people took these charges seriously even in Poland itself in the force of their obviously delusional nature, "- explained the parliamentarian to RIA Novosti.
