“Today we will simplify the procedure for issuing ordinary private visas and staying in Russia for close relatives of our citizens - spouses, parents, children, brothers and sisters, grandparents, grandchildren who have other citizenship,” he said.

For this, a number of changes will be made to the relevant law.

“Such relatives will be able to obtain long-term private visas valid for up to one year.

This can be done on the basis of a simple written statement of our citizen, ”explained the Prime Minister.

The rule of law, due to which every three months guests had to travel outside Russia in order to retain the right to obtain a visa, will also be excluded, Mishustin emphasized.

In June, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that from January 2021, citizens of 113 states will be able to enter Russian territory in a simplified manner, including with an electronic visa.
