2020 has not gone as desired for the Vasaloppet organization.
The lack of snow last winter meant great, costly challenges and when it was time for the summer week, the corona pandemic stopped.
Due to the increased costs and lower incomes, Vasloppet is now implementing a savings program and on Wednesday it will issue a notice for twelve services.
- The Vasaloppet has had many tough challenges over the years, but 2020 has been really difficult and has put the organization to the test.
It is never fun to take such measures, but based on the year we have had, it is necessary for the Vasaloppet to stand strong for many years to come, says Vasaloppet's acting CEO Johan Eriksson in a press release.
