Four PSV supporters have been sentenced to three months in prison and a fine of 1,500 euros for humiliating beggars in a square in Madrid in 2016. The court of the Spanish capital decided on Wednesday, the Spanish news agency



Among other things, the men had thrown coins at the women and burned bills in front of their eyes.

They would also have wanted the women to carry out assignments such as push-ups in exchange for money.

The Spanish public prosecutor had demanded one year in prison and a fine of 600 euros in January 2019.

The four supporters followed the session via a video conference from the Netherlands.

They agreed to imprisonment and to pay $ 1,500 to each victim.

The Dutch also apologized to the women in a letter.

The men are also banned from sports competitions in Spain for three years.

The incident happened around the away match of the Eindhoven club against Atlético Madrid.

PSV has previously imposed stadium bans of one to three years on the men.
