At 21.18, the police and ambulance were alerted to the intersection of Sallerupsvägen and Kvarnbyvägen in Malmö.
A motorcycle and a car had collided.
The three people who traveled in the car survived unharmed, but the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Just before midnight, the police announced that the motorcyclist had died as a result of his injuries.
