The misdemeanor court in Ras al-Khaimah in the Gulf and his mother acquitted the charge of assaulting his wife's safety and insulting her, following differences between them, as the Public Prosecution charged them with assaulting the integrity of the wife, and causing injuries that led to her inability to perform her personal work for a period of less than 20 days according to medical papers, in addition to To Sabha with shameful words.

In the details, the wife filed a complaint with the Ras al-Khaimah police, stating that the husband locked her door to her room without food, and was not allowed to go out for three days, as she asked him to go to her family's home in case he did not want her to stay at home, and to stay with his second wife, unless He asked her to stay home and not go out.

She explained during the investigations that he slapped her twice on the face, pushed her and closed the door, and communicated with the competent authorities, and informed them of the incident, and that she was deprived of seeing her children, and she had not received food for days, and a policeman came to the house, and after he left, the husband and his mother assaulted her, He insulted her in profanity.

She added that her brother came to the house and accompanied her to the police station to submit a report of the assault, accompanied by a medical certificate, and the husband denied what was attributed to him, and stated that the incident was malicious, because he married a second wife, and the mother denied the accusation against her.

The husband's defense, attorney Abdullah Sarhan, stated that the accusations against his client were malicious, and the papers lacked evidence of the validity of the wife's statements, demanding his innocence of what was attributed to him.

The court's verdict stated that the Criminal Procedure Law stated that if the incident was not proven, or if the law was not punishable, the court ruled the innocence of the accused, and he was released if he was imprisoned in the incident.

Follow-up that the medical examination certificate submitted by the wife did not bear sufficient conclusive evidence to prove that any of the accused committed the acts attributed to them, and the complaint is not supported by any certain evidence.

She added that, pursuant to Article 211 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the court rules on acquitting the defendants of the charges brought against them.
