The Ministry of Education, in partnership with the National Pride Office, launched a scholarship program in Emirati schools, which is offered to children of health sector workers all over the Emirates.

Under the initiative called "Hayyakum", students receive full scholarships to study in public schools, starting from the current academic year until they finish high school, in appreciation of the efforts and sacrifices of their parents, and their role in preserving the health and safety of the UAE society.

The number of beneficiaries of the initiative reached 1850 students at the state level, while applications for the current academic year will continue until the end of this month.

The scholarships cover tuition costs, laptops, and school transportation expenses, up to high school completion.

The initiative comes within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Office of "Pride of the Nation", while both sides are looking forward to strengthening cooperation in the future by launching and implementing specific initiatives and programs, in cooperation with various educational bodies in the country.

The "Hayyakum" initiative contributes to achieving family and psychological stability, helping families bear the financial burdens due to the "Covid-19" pandemic, and securing education for their children in public schools, which is positively reflected on frontline workers through a sense of safety, by providing educational opportunities at a level of level. The partnership between the Ministry of Education and the "Pride of the Nation" office is the first of its kind, as the office will do its mission by developing a wide range of partnerships and cooperation with government agencies, the private sector, and all segments of society, throughout the Emirates, to develop special initiatives and programs aimed at supporting and appreciating Frontline champions.
