The Chambéry Court of Appeal confirmed this Wednesday the conviction of the two attackers of Sven Lelandais, the brother of Nordahl Lelandais.

In June 2019, the two men, prosecuted for violence in meetings, were sentenced to one year in prison and one year suspended respectively.

They then appealed against their judgments.

The facts date back to February 1, 2019 and took place near Pont-de-Beauvoisin, where the murder of little Maëlys was committed, of which Nordalh Lelandais is suspected.

Recognizing the suspect's brother, the two individuals arrested him in the street, before threatening and then beating him up.

According to Marc Dereymez, lawyer for the victim interviewed by

, Sven Lelandais would consider changing his name "because he can no longer even find work".
