The General Administration of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi has carried out an experiment for the lighting system for dark places using the drone, as part of its efforts to keep pace with scientific developments, and to harness modern technologies and means to enhance the speed of response.

The Deputy Director General of the Department, Brigadier General Muhammad Ibrahim Al Ameri, stressed the constant interest in keeping pace with developments and developments, in order to enhance the efforts of the Civil Defense in providing safety for the residents of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, pointing out that the presence of good lighting in the fire sites enhances the efforts of firefighters to perform their duties with high accuracy.

He pointed out that the experience comes within the framework of encouraging the application of modern, advanced systems that enhance the performance of firefighting tasks with high professionalism, which reflects positively on achieving the highest levels of safety to protect individuals and property, within a work system approved in accordance with the best international practices.

Lt. Col. Omar Salem Al-Shehhi stated that the system was operational within three minutes, at a height of 40 meters, and covers a lighting area from 4,500 to 8,000 square meters, does not require batteries, and is safe and easy to move from one place to another.
