UAE signs the historic peace treaty with Israel

Today the United Arab Emirates signed the historic peace treaty with the State of Israel.

The treaty was signed on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on behalf of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This historic event - which took place on the South Lawn of the White House - witnessed the attendance of about 700 guests from around the world.

The state delegation participating in the signing ceremony included Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid bin Humaid Al-Tayer, Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Bint Ibrahim Al-Hashemi, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Dr. Chairman of the Federal Customs Authority Ali Saeed Matar Al Niyadi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Cultural Affairs Omar Saif Ghobash, the permanent representative of the UAE to the United Nations Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Director of the Strategic Communication Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hind Maneh Al-Otaiba, and a number of officials.
