Trump commented on media reports that the Iranian side could allegedly prepare "an assassination or other attack on the United States" due to the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in January in a missile strike from the United States.
"Any attack on the United States by Iran in any form will be answered in the form of an attack on Iran, which will be a thousand times larger," the American president said.
