  In the sinking work phase, each inspection team will go to the grassroots, the frontline, and the scene based on the situation and the focused problem clues the inspectors have mastered in the previous phase, and conduct their work by means of unannounced investigations and spot investigations.

  As of September 10, the inspection teams had received 3809 calls and letters from the masses and accepted 3000 valid reports. After sorting out and combining repeated reports, a total of 2731 cases were transferred to the inspected unit; the inspected unit has completed 289 investigations. Among them, 101 cases were filed and fined 12.4382 million yuan; 5 cases were filed for investigation; 58 party and government leaders were interviewed, and 21 party and government leaders were held accountable.
