Yesterday, data from the Office for National Statistics in the United Kingdom showed that 695,000 jobs in British companies have been cut, since last March, when the outbreak of the Corona virus began.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) stated that the number of unemployed youth rose by 156,000 during the three months to last July.

The office indicated that the unemployment rate among those between the ages of 16 and 24 was the largest compared to the rest of the other age groups.

The unemployment rate, during the three months to last July, was 4.1%.

And the bureau's director, Darren Morgan, said that there were indications that the economy "witnessed an opening" last July, after restaurants, cafes and hairdressing salons were allowed to reopen.

He added, "Nevertheless, in light of the decrease in the number of the workforce, during last August, and the high rate of unemployment during last July, it is clear that the Corona virus continues to have a great impact on the world of work."

During the three months to last July, the unemployment rate was 4.1%.
