3 Israelis were wounded after the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip bombed the settlements on the enclave of the Strip, in conjunction with the signing ceremony of two agreements to normalize relations between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain in Washington.

The Israeli army announced this evening, Tuesday, that it had monitored the launch of two rockets from the Gaza Strip, towards the cover settlements, confirming that it had responded to one of them.

The Israeli army added that sirens sounded in the coastal cities of Ashkelon and Ashdod.

According to Israeli media, the two missiles hit a commercial center in occupied Ashdod, and video scenes published by the media documented warning sirens echoing in the cover of the Gaza Strip, while the Iron Dome system confronted another missile.

The launching of the two missiles from the Gaza Strip coincided with the speech of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House during the signing ceremony of the normalization agreement with the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed and Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdul Latif Al Zayani, in the presence of US President Donald Trump.

The Al-Jazeera correspondent in Tel Aviv said that 3 Israelis were wounded, and 4 others were injured in panic, in addition to material damage.

The correspondent added that this bombing includes political messages and may be repeated, and that the resistance used long-range missiles, expecting the Israeli response to be strong and soon.
