Bad start to the day for a boulangerie in the heart of Strasbourg.

Sunday morning, shortly before 9 a.m., two men entered the small establishment.

Then one of them threatened the baker with a fork and demanded the fund.

The latter then alerted the manager, who put the two individuals to flight.

The latter were arrested shortly after by the municipal police quai Saint-Nicolas.

The fork was found on one of the men.

They are two brothers, aged 38 and 41, already known to the courts and the police for the same facts, always with a fork.

The two men are, this Monday morning, still in custody.

The Strasbourg prosecutor's office has reclassified the facts as an “attempted extortion with a weapon” according to a police source.

The video of the bakery is being used by investigators.
