According to him, in recent years, Ukraine has irrevocably lost its positions in almost all foreign markets.

"The indicators of Ukraine collapsed primarily due to the rupture of economic, cooperative ties with Russia and other post-Soviet states," he said.

The politician pointed out that as a result of the rupture of cooperation ties, the volume of exported goods to the CIS countries in 2019 alone decreased by $ 20 billion compared to the pre-crisis period. 

“I have stated more than once that the recipe for saving the Ukrainian economy from collapse is to restore trade and economic ties with Russia, a gradual return to the markets of the CIS countries,” Medvedchuk stressed.

Earlier, Medvedchuk announced a possible collapse of the Ukrainian livestock sector.
