Putin said that in order to find out the true situation of the incident, the relevant parties should transmit to Russia the test results and biological samples of Navalny, and cooperate with Russian doctors.

  During the call, the two parties expressed their willingness to promote cooperation between Russia and Europe on this matter.

  According to the "Moscow Times" news, Macron said that the French analysis confirmed the German conclusion that Navalny had been attacked by a "Novichok" nerve agent.

Macron emphasized that Russia must clarify this "attempted murder case and the perpetrators."

  Navalny is a well-known Russian opposition figure.
