The Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Bahrain's normalization of its relations with Israel, considering this a "disgrace in the record of Bahrain's rulers," and said that Bahrain and the Emirates will from now on be responsible for any Israeli move threatening the security of the Gulf region.

Tehran added that Bahrain "neglected the rights and sacrifices of the Palestinians, in a major gamble to support Trump in the elections."

She said that, since today, it considers Bahrain and the UAE "partners in Zionist crimes against the Palestinians and the peoples of the region."

As for Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, he said that the region is witnessing conspiracies planned by the United States and Israel.

On the sidelines of a meeting with the head of the Iranian judiciary, Ibrahim Raisi and Parliament Speaker Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf, he added that Tehran must work to ensure security and stability in the region under the new circumstances.

For his part, Qalibaf said that "the normalization decision imposed by the US administration on some Arab countries will lead to destabilization of security in the region, and provocative steps will follow," and affirmed that his country will follow the issue and take appropriate decisions in this regard.

New era

In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he would leave tonight for Washington for what he described as a historic mission, referring to attending the signing ceremony of the two normalization agreements with the UAE and Bahrain.

He added that he would meet US President Donald Trump and representatives of the UAE and Bahrain "to make peace in exchange for peace out of strength," he said.

Netanyahu had said that within one month, Israel had obtained two historic peace agreements with two Arab countries, and added that the normalization agreement between Tel Aviv and Manama would allow direct flights between the two countries.

"It is a new era of peace that I have been working on for 25 years, and these agreements will combine political peace with economic peace," he added, adding that they would generate billions of dollars for Israel's economy in investments, economic cooperation and various projects.

My people refused

In the same context, the opposition Al-Wefaq Association said that the Bahraini regime is practicing intimidation and threats to force some institutions to support the agreement with Israel.

The association clarified that several sports, religious and community institutions had received intimidation and intimidation by the regime to force them to issue positions in support of the agreement.

She said that several institutions "have expressed their unspoken rejection and resentment of this level of extortion, injustice and intimidation in order to support an agreement that is rejected religiously, popularly, morally and nationally."

The Al-Wefaq Association indicated that there is an unprecedented national consensus in Bahrain - at the grassroots, civil, community, trade union and civil society institutions - to reject agreement and normalization.

Political associations and civil society institutions in Bahrain issued a statement declaring their total and categorical rejection of the agreement and normalization with Israel.

The statement said, "All the effects of normalization will not have any popular cover, in line with what generations of Bahrainis have grown up on in adhering to the Palestinian cause."
