The Israeli and Emirati delegations arrived yesterday, Sunday, to the American capital, Washington, to sign the normalization agreement between them, and one European country announced the presence of its foreign minister for the signing ceremony of the agreement next Tuesday.

On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the two peace agreements he would sign with the UAE and Bahrain in Washington "would pump billions into the economy of Israel."

This came in press statements made by Netanyahu prior to boarding the plane that took off from Tel Aviv to Washington, to attend the signing ceremony of the two normalization agreements with the UAE and Bahrain, under the auspices of US President Donald Trump.

Netanyahu added that these agreements would unify diplomatic peace with economic peace, and "would pump billions into our economy through investments, cooperation and joint projects."

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated that Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, arrived in the American capital at the head of an official delegation that includes senior officials, to participate in the signing of the "historic" peace treaty with Israel.

The agency said that the delegation includes senior officials, including the ministers of economy and industry and the UAE's ambassadors to the United States and the United Nations.

A fading European presence

In turn, the spokesman for the Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Zegarto, confirmed that the minister will be the only one among the foreign ministers of European Union member states who will attend the signing ceremony of the agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the UAE in Washington on Tuesday.

"At the invitation of US President Donald Trump, Minister Peter Zigarto will attend the signing ceremony at the White House on Tuesday, as the only minister from the European Union," spokesman Matti Pachulay told the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Major European countries, such as France and Britain, welcomed the agreement between Israel and the UAE, as did the European Union Executive Committee, which said it was "important to the stability of the region."

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was an early supporter of the US president, but he was often criticized in the European Union for his anti-immigration rhetoric and declining democratic standards in the media, the judiciary and academia.

"Since the White House prepared the region's stability agenda, this was the second development that proves that this is the best peace plan so far, and bodes well for finally achieving peace in the Middle East," Zigarto said on Facebook on Saturday.

In turn, the International Union of Muslim Scholars expressed its condemnation and condemnation of the Bahraini and Emirati normalization with Israel, stressing its inviolability.

The Secretary General of the Federation, Dr.

Ali Al-Qaradaghi, in the statement, that reconciling the occupiers of Diyar al-Islam necessarily entails the suspension of many of the legal texts regarding the obligation to recover rights.

He continued, "The necessity of responding to aggression and resisting the invaders is one of the legal constants, and also supporting Muslims in preventing their killing and expelling them from their lands and homes is one of the fundamentals of this religion as long as they are able to do so."

Al-Qarah Daghi stressed the prohibition of normalization with the occupiers of Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem, and that it is a high treason, as stated in the original fatwa issued by Muslim scholars to confirm the sanctity of this normalization.

He added: According to this fatwa, what happened between some Arab countries and Israel, which is still occupying most of Palestine, including Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds Al-Sharif, is not called a peace in its reality or a truce, rather it is a concession on the holiest land, and an acknowledgment of the legitimacy of the occupying enemy. It was called peace agreements, reconciliation, or normalization, in this case, forbidden and void by law, a major crime, and a betrayal of God's rights.

On Friday, Bahrain announced that it had reached an agreement to establish full diplomatic relations with Israel, under the auspices of the United States, to join the Emirates that had previously taken a similar step on August 13.

Arab political forces and organizations announced their widespread rejection of this agreement, amid accusations that it was "a stab in the back of the nation's cause after a similar blow from the Emirates."
