The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai recently launched the "Boat and Yacht Lifting" service for the public from various segments of society in the emirate, through the dry dock in the Al Garhoud maintenance workshop of the authority.

The Director of the Maritime Transport Department at the Public Transport Corporation at the Authority, Muhammad Abu Bakr Al-Hashemi, stated that the dry dock services in the Garhoud maintenance workshop include lifting and unloading boats, and providing external yards for maintenance work with power and water supplies, and these services are provided to boats and yachts up to 20 meters in length. .

He explained that the working hours in the workshop are from Saturday to Thursday from eight in the morning until five in the evening for maintenance work, and from nine in the morning until four in the evening for the lifting and unloading of boats, and the service targets individuals who own boats and yachts and tourist companies that own boats and yachts and intend to maintain and sustain them to provide the best services To its customers.

Al-Hashemi added that the authority provides the service of lifting and unloading and the external yards and does not provide maintenance service, stressing that the authority seeks to launch quality initiatives to make the community happy in its various sectors.
