• Government.Pedro Sánchez looks back to ERC to approve the Budgets

Ciudadanos wants to make it clear that Pedro Sánchez has a constitutional and non-nationalist alternative to negotiate the Budgets.

And that if he ends up opting for Esquerra Republicana it will be by his own decision or due to pressure from his partners in Podemos.

This is clearly stated by the national spokesperson for Cs, Melisa Rodríguez, who has urged Sánchez to choose: either negotiate public accounts "conditioned by the independentists and those who want to break Spain" or "for all Spaniards" and with Cs .

After the Permanent Committee of Cs, Melisa Rodríguez has confirmed that the secessionists "do want to negotiate the Budgets" and now it is the Government "that will have to decide whether it wants accounts for everyone or not."

According to the former deputy, "the Executive's argument that there is no alternative because no one wants to sit down to negotiate has been annulled" since Cs is willing to do so, but without ERC involved.

As the liberal formation has already made clear, Ciudadanos does not contemplate a negotiation to three, in which both ERC and Cs are.

That is "impossible", as the

last week.

Now it has to be the Government and the PSOE that has to choose between the 13 deputies of ERC or the 10 of Cs.

Last week Pedro Sánchez began to point out that he prefers to negotiate with ERC and even told his parliamentary spokesman, Gabriel Rufián, that Cs "has not abandoned the photo of Colón" with the PP and Vox.

The problem, according to Rodríguez, is that the Government "does not know where to position ourselves and how to satisfy its partners so as not to have an internal revolt," in reference to Podemos, which is pressing for the Executive to turn towards the independentists and move away from the center .
