109 cases of corona in South Korea

The Korean Center for Disease Control and Prevention in South Korea announced yesterday that 109 new cases of the emerging coronavirus have been recorded.

The South Korean Yonhap News Agency quoted the center as saying that among the new cases, 98 cases of local infection, bringing the number of HIV cases to 22,285.

It is noteworthy that this is the 12th consecutive day that South Korea has recorded less than 200 cases of the virus.

The Korean authorities have begun to ease restrictions imposed in the greater Seoul area, allowing restaurants, cafes and other facilities to operate normally under stricter preventive measures.
