The Egyptian space scientist at NASA, Dr. Essam Hajji, responded to the Egyptian media's abuse in a tweet on his personal page on Twitter.

A follower of Lahji wrote on Twitter, "Your Honor, you know that our media is telling you that you are a bed at NASA, forgive us, Doctor."

Thank you, my friend, I understand your kind message. I have many titles in our great media: “Mawarati are stones”, “planetary plumber”, “moon drivers”, “NASA bed” and others.

All of these are honorable jobs. As a person from a simple Egyptian family, I would not be wrong to describe them.

I would like to send you the official job title from the agency page.
