The Saudi-Emirati coalition launched night raids on several targets of the Houthi group in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and explosions were also heard after a Houthi missile attack in the city of Marib, after dozens of people were killed in the ranks of the group during battles and the coalition launched raids on several areas in Marib.

Sources told Al-Jazeera that, late last night, the coalition air strikes targeted Al-Sawad camp in Sanhan District (south of Sanaa), as well as Al-Sama camp in Arhab District and Al-Dailami Air Base (north of Sanaa).

Earlier, at least 6 raids were documented on the headquarters of the Military Engineering Department and the headquarters of the National Security Agency in Sana'a.

Houthi media reported that another airstrike targeted a farm in the Saraf area (east of Sanaa), without saying whether the strikes left casualties.

On the other hand, a local source in the city of Ma'rib reported that explosions were heard after a Houthi missile attack targeted areas, including the headquarters of the Third Military Region, as ambulances rushed to the place, but it was not possible to obtain information about the death toll.

On Saturday evening, the Saudi-Emirati coalition aircraft launched 23 air strikes on the districts of Majzar and Maddhal (northwest of the Ma'rib Governorate).

The Media Center of the National Army said that more than 35 Houthis were killed by army and resistance fire in the Al-Jufra area and the Salb mountain range (northwest of Ma'rib).

He added that the National Army seized an armored vehicle and destroyed 3 combat vehicles during the battles that lasted about 24 hours.

This escalation by the coalition comes days after the Houthis announced sending drones to Abha International Airport (southern Saudi Arabia).
