The women in Gafsele women's team thrive together and think that they get a completely different role in the all-female hunting team.

- If I shot a moose, I was quickly told, "Can't you shoot?".

You never got the best passes.

There are many women who have done badly in male hunting teams, says hunter Marie Fransson.

"Many men who want to join"

Gafsele women's team started hunting outside Skellefteå five years ago, where Sveaskog provided land only for women to hunt.

Now the hunt has been moved to Gafsele outside Åsele.

The meat is not used by the women, it is sold in Åsele.

- It's far too difficult to take home the chilled.

We come from all over Sweden and Norway, says Bente Rönningen hunting leader from Norwegian Trysil.

- There are many men who want to join and hunt with us, we have received many requests.

But we do not let in any man.

With us, only women should hunt, says Beate Rönningen.
