13 September 2020 Slovenian Tadej Pogacar wins the 15th stage of the Tour de France, the long-awaited and feared alpine leg from Lyon to Grand Colombier, 174.5 km with 3GpM in the last 80 km (the last ascent, precisely on the Grand Colombier until the finish, 17.4km long with slopes up to 12%).

Pogacar, who makes an encore after his success in the Laruns fraction, beats the yellow jersey in a sprint (uphill finish), his compatriot Primoz Roglic (now leader for 40 ") and the Australian Porte, who has reached 5".  



The day comes alive with a breakaway of eight riders including Trentin, Marcato and Bonifazio who reach up to 4'30 "advantage. The initiative, which gradually sees the group fray (the last to surrender, in order, are the Spanish Herrada, the Austrian Gogl and the French Rolland) is definitively neutralized at -13km).



Then the final tussle: on the Grand Colombier the Colombians Quintana and Bernal collapse (at the finish line with a delay of 7'20 ”), the Slovenians, on the other hand, still score a double. Tomorrow the second and last day of rest. It resumes on Tuesday with the La Tour de Pin-Villard Lans, 164km.
