Very bad surprise for a retired couple returning from shopping.
When they arrived at their home in Belfort, they were first intrigued by clothes hanging on their gate, reports
the Republican East
.
Inside the home, a man of about fifty, "with a bulging torso" assuring that he is at home.
Worse still, the individual took a chicken out of the fridge, served himself a little coffee before going down to the cellar to look for a little pick-me-up.
Bad luck, that's where a "powerful" dog was.
The man fled, but made his way to the garage where he grabbed a large sharp mass.
After some damage, he threatened the septuagenarian to "smash his head", report our colleagues.
Alerted, the police arrested the individual before the latter was hospitalized directly in a psychiatric center.
There remains a couple of retirees in shock.
