It is noted that the memorandum was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulidis and US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.
The signing of the document took place within the framework of bilateral cooperation in the areas of security and defense with the aim of creating a training center in Larnaca.
Earlier it was reported that Cyprus opposed the introduction of EU sanctions against Belarus.
